Wiz Khalifa named in $2.3 million 'Black and Yellow' lawsuit

A rapper from Pittsburgh named Max Warren is suing 'Roll Up' star Wiz Khalifa for $2.3 million over allegations that he stole 'Black and Yellow'.

Warren, whose stage name is Maxamillion, says the chart-topping hit was copied from his own cut called 'Pink N Yellow', which he copyrighted back in 2008.

Billboard.com reports that the copyright infringement lawsuit has been filed in federal court in Philadelphia and names Khalifa along with two other songwriters and a couple of record labels and music publishers, including EMI Publishing and Warner Music Group as the involved parties.
