Rap superstar Nicki Minaj has been confirmed as one of the first performers for this year's GRAMMY Awards. 

The ceremony, which is set to take place on February 12, will welcome the 'Super Bass' hitmaker as a performer for the first time and organisers of the GRAMMYs have also revealed several other huge names for live sets on the night. 

Joining Minaj will be heartthrob Bruno Mars, stadium rock heroes Foo Fighters, country-pop sweetheart Taylor Swift and American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson. 

Minaj is also set to unveil her sophomore album, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded', on Valentine's Day (February 14).
