Yesterday, January 12, saw the official nominations party for the 2012 BRIT Awards and singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is leading the pack with an impressive 4 nods. 

The talented 20-year-old has been recognised in the categories of British Solo Artist, Best Album, Best Single and Breakthrough Artist and admitted that he can't wait to represent "Team Ginge" at the ceremony in February. 

Other stars up for the coveted prizes include Critics' Choice winner Emeli Sandé, who will go head-to-head with Sheeran for the Breakthrough Artist title, Adele, who landed 3 nominations for British Single, MasterCard Album of the Year and British Female Solo Artist, and One Direction who are also up for British Single.
