Ed Sheeran admits Adele is likely to "sweep up" at the BRITs

Ed Sheeran has conceded that Adele is likely to dominate this year's BRIT Awards,

Sheeran is nominated for four categories, but faces superstar Adele in two of them - British Single and Mastercard British Album of the Year.

And he told The Sun that he's pretty much admitted defeat in those two categories - predicting that Adele will "sweep up" the awards. He said:

"It is definitely still Adele's year. She's done everything and is the most successful UK artist for 20 years. She's going to sweep up all her awards."

However, Sheeran also spoke of how there is "no jealousy" between British acts, claiming that they are all good friends - as news spreads of his potential collaboration with fellow BRITs star Jessie J.
