Stone Roses bassist Mani "finds extra £2m in bank account"

Stones Roses' bassist Mani got the shock of his life recently after he reportedly found an extra £2m sitting inside his bank account.

His band have reunited for a number of money-spinning shows this year, but a perplexed Mani revealed his shock at the unexpected cash injection - said to be an advance on the band's upcoming tour.

The Sun reports that the bassist told friends in his hometown of Stockport that he was only going out to buy "milk and things" before finding out the good news. It is reported that he said:

"It's madness. I only went out to buy milk and things. I went to the cashpoint and someone has stuck nearly £2million in while I wasn't looking. The whole world's gone crazy. I could have fallen over backwards when I saw the balance."

The newspaper also reported that Mani toasted the news by immediately heading to the pub.
