Now magazine denies it published "untruths" about MC Harvey and Cheryl ColeNow magazine has issued a statement denying any allegations of defamation over an interview they ran with MC Harvey. As previously reported, MC Harvey and Cheryl Cole engaged in a Twitter row on Tuesday (January 31) after it emerged that the So Solid Crew man claimed in the interview that he had a relationship with Cole after she split up with husband Ashley in 2010. Cole vehemently refuted the claims - and now the magazine in question has denied any accusations of wrongdoing and say they will "strongly defend" the article. The statement, published on the Now website, said: "We completely and wholeheartedly stand by our exclusive and refute any accusation that it contains untruths. Michael Harvey himself released a statement earlier this week standing by what he revealed in his interview in Now magazine. The article is not defamatory and was published in good faith - we will strongly defend it."
