A host of big names were announced this morning (February 3) for Radio 1's Hackney Weekend event.

The massive gig, which will take place over June 23/24 this summer, had already confirmed the likes of Leona Lewis and Plan B.

Names to be added to the bill this morning include Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey and Professor Green.

They're joined by the likes of will.i.am, Dappy and David Guetta as the event begins to take shape.

Other names added to the line-up include Labrinth, Jack White and Emeli Sandé.

Tickets will be given away for the event free via a registration scheme on the BBC Radio 1 website.

Radio 1's 2012 events director Jason Carter said of the event:

"This event will be a massive celebration in such a special year for us all. This is a concert in the heart of east London and we will use it as an opportunity to shine a light on and celebrate the young people of east London too."
