Alanis Morissette has confirmed details of 3 special UK gigs, which are set to take place later this year. 

The 'Thank You' superstar has been away from Europe for a while, but announced a tour this morning (February 7) that will see her perform in cities all over England from Birmingham to London. 

Tickets for the new string of shows will go on sale at 9am on Friday, February 10 and she is currently working on the follow up album to 2008's 'Flavors Of Entanglement'.

The star will play to crowds at the following venues in June:

• June 25 - O2 Academy Birmingham
• June 26 - O2 Apollo Manchester
• June 27 - O2 Academy Brixton
