Nicole Scherzinger has "no regrets" about X Factor USA role

Nicole Scherzinger has opened up about her sudden departure from X Factor USA after just one season and explained that she gave her role as a judge "110 per cent".

It was recently announced that the former Pussycat Doll, Paula Abdul and Welsh heartthrob Steve Jones haven't been asked to return for the new series and Scherzinger has now spoken out on the news to clarify the situation.

"What happened? Well, all I know is that I gave 110 per cent to that show. I don't know," she told Access Hollywood. "I know everybody's talking about it. They're saying good, bad, they love me or hate me, but the one thing you can't say is that I didn't give it my all..."

Despite being axed from the panel, the 'Poison' hitmaker added that she loved her time on the show and has "no regrets" about taking part:

"I had a wonderful experience on the show. I loved being a part of my X Factor family. Nothing could obviously prepare me for everything I had to go through, all the emotions and stuff, but I have no regrets. I've always believed in never looking back and just moving forward and I've got an amazing year to look forward to."
