Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die' remains at No.1

Lana Del Rey's major label debut, 'Born To Die', has beaten off tough competition in the midweek albums chart update and is still at No.1

The record, which according to the Official Charts Company "currently holds the lead by 3,000 copies", triumped over a wave of new entries from the likes of Maverick Sabre, whose 'Lonely Are The Brave' shot in at No. 2, Sir Paul McCartney's 'Kisses On The Bottom' at No. 3 and Van Halen's 'A Different Kind Of Truth' at No. 4.

Rockers Young Guns have made an appearance at No. 9 today with their latest offering 'Bones' and Pet Shop Boys' 'Format B Sides & Bonus Tracks' is new in at No. 12.
