The Wanted's 18-year-old Nathan Sykes "sneaks past US drinking law"

The Wanted have successfully managed to navigate past one of the trickiest parts of their recent jaunt to America - how to let 18-year-old Nathan Sykes relax with a drink.

Sykes of course falls foul of the country's alcohol laws, where you can't drink until you are 21 years old.

However, Max George revealed that they sneakily used their bandmate Tom Parker's driving licence - because he looked similar to Sykes when he was a teenager. The Sun quotes George as saying:

"Tom got his driving licence when he was 17 and he looked a little like Nathan, so we let him use that and he got away with it."

As previously reported, The Wanted were joined by a familiar face from back home - football star David Beckham - before they played a triumphant show to a sold-out gig in Los Angeles earlier this week (February 8).
