Jessie J's emotional tribute to Whitney Houston

Jessie J has paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston with an emotional performance of 'Who You Are' at a party in Los Angeles.

The 'Price Tag' hitmaker, who has previously covered hits by the pop icon including her well-loved track 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody', took the stage at Clive Davis' pre-GRAMMYs party in California and dedicated her debut album's title track to Houston.

Writing to her 2.1 million followers on social networking site Twitter earlier today, February 12, Jessie J revealed her unbearable sadness at the shocking news that Houston has passed away:

"I think today was the most emotional day of my career... I am lost for words and so overwhelmed. Whitney I sing because of you and will continue to do so in your honour always and forever. X"

She recently told her fans that while she is due attend the GRAMMYs as a guest, she hasn't been asked to perform at the ceremony although it is a dream of hers
