Cee Lo Green praises fellow The Voice coaches

Cee Lo Green has praised his fellow coaches on the US version of The Voice.

Cee Lo is one of four coaches on the TV talent show - and speaking to Parade, he took time to praise each one.

He gave special praise to Christina Aguilera, calling her singing "brilliant", whilst Maroon 5's Adam Levine, he says, is "supercool". He said:

"I don’t really look at my fellow coaches as competition because we're all completely different. I'd love to trade places with Christina [Aguilera] to see what it feels like to sing as brilliantly as she does. Blake [Shelton] is down-to-earth, charming, witty, charismatic. I've grown very fond of him. And Adam [Levine] and I are friends, too. He's just supercool."

He also opened up on his fashion influences - citing some rather surprising glam rock idols. He added:

"I’m inspired by Kiss, Alice Cooper, Sly Stone, and Elton John - people who have great showmanship. I just like to shake things up and breathe some fresh air back into music."
