Adam Lambert confirms new album's delay

Vocal sensation Adam Lambert has confirmed that his forthcoming new album's release date has been "pushed back" so that he can perfect the tracks that feature on it.

In a new post on his Twitter page in the early hours of this morning, February 17, the 'For Your Entertainment' star explained that the original date of March 19 no longer applies because he is tweaking the songs and wants to make them "even better":

"Yes, the album release date has been pushed back. Working on some new songs, making the album even better! Thank you all for understanding."

While live on air with Z100 recently, Lambert gave a speculative new date of "Mapril" and confessed that there will several new additions to the already fantastic tracklist, adding that the wait will be more than worth it:

"I know it’s hard, but it’s not finished. It needs to be finished. There are new songs we are doing last minute that are really good. Dr. Luke songs, so they are really good and very radio. It’s all for the best, even though it’s a tough thing to ask to wait. I want the album to be amaze-balls.”
