X Factor 2011 contestant Craig Colton has revealed how superstar Robbie Williams is on hand to give the singer advice.

Colton bowed out of the show in the final stages, but has since been bouncing ideas off of the Take That star - some of which he says is "genius".

Colton told the Sun that he has been showing Williams lyrics and is hoping to meet up with the star soon. He said:

"I send Robbie my lyrics and he tells me what he likes and what he doesn't like. One song - Beautiful Surprise - he described as 'genius'. I couldn't ask for anyone better to help me. Hopefully I'll get to LA to see him in the summer."
