Houston's body arrives in a gold hearse ahead of funeral

Whitney Houston's body has arrived at a church in New Jersey ahead of her funeral service, which will take place this afternoon. 

Video footage and photographs taken today (February 18) from the New Hope Baptist Church show a gold-coloured hearse pulling up and pall bearers have been seen carrying a gold-handled coffin into the building. 

The lack of a public memorial service has upset some of Houston's fans, but they have still been turning up at the New Jersey Funeral Home to pay respects and to leave flowers or cards.

Despite the funeral being strictly a private affair, Houston's publicist recently confirmed that part of the service will be streamed online through the Associated Press website.
