Delta Goodrem and Nick Jonas have officially announced that their nine-month relationship is over.

The 27-year-old Australian and the 19-year-old youngest member of the Jonas Brothers began dating in May last year, shortly after Delta ended her six-year engagement with former Westlife singer Brian McFadden.

But in a statement issued by her manager, the pair revealed that their hectic work schedules had drove them apart:

“Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship. At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths.

"They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future."

Delta, who initially found fame as Nina Tucker in 'Neighbours,' has just begun filming for her new role as a judge on the Australian version of 'The Voice,' while Nick is currently starring in the Broadway production of 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.'
