Muse tease new album with Twitter photos

Muse have teased details of their forthcoming sixth album by posting several behind-the-scenes photos of its recording on Twitter.

The Devonshire trio, who are nominated in three categories at Wednesday’s NME Awards, are currently working on the follow-up to 2009’s The Resistance in Los Angeles, and took to the social networking site this weekend to reveal that they had 'just done some more horns with some legendary players,' before adding:

“Now some strings. This album is coming along nicely. Bring on the Autumn!”

The ‘Supermassive Black Hole’ stars, along with their official videographer Tom Kirk, also uploaded several photos taken in the recording studio, including one which sees front-man Matt Bellamy working with composer David Campbell, who has previously collaborated with Radiohead and U2.

The album, which bassist Chris Wolstenholme recently claimed will be ‘radically different,’ is expected to be released in October.
