The Wanted's 'Glad You Came' is at No.1 on the U.S. iTunes pop chart

The Wanted have topped the iTunes pop chart in America with their fantastic single, 'Glad You Came'. 

The lads have made a significant impression in the U.S. since their extensive tour of the country and also had their song included on an episode of Glee, but have now risen to the all-important No.1 position.

'Glad You Came' is currently at No.2 on the overall U.S. iTunes chart and the hitmakers took to their official Twitter page in the early hours of this morning (February 28) to share the fantastic news with their 365,000 followers:

"Our #TWFanmily is on top of it! We couldn't ask for a better group of fans :) #ThankYou #GladYouCame"

Nathan Sykes added: "It's so hard to go to bed when I'm this excited :) cant express how insanely happy this makes us. cant wait to tell the rest of my mates -ns"

 

 

 

In addition to this, the offering has also been certified Gold in the USA after selling in excess of 500,000 copies since its release there.
