Nicki Minaj reveals her new album's cover artwork

Rap sensation Nicki Minaj has treated her fans to a sneak peek at the cover for her highly anticipated sophomore album, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.

The 'Turn Me On' star tweeted a link to the artwork last night, March 1, and it follows in the vein of her colourful debut record's cover, but with added vibrancy.

The exciting new offering is expected to drop on April 3 after being pushed back from its originally scheduled date of Valentine's Day (February 14), and the photograph that fronts it shows Minaj facing the camera from a side-on angle with her face decorated in a variety of colours.

Her sleek blonde hair contrasts with the paint-splattered background and the whimsical choice of pink for the font is given an aggressive feel by the type of lettering to match her unusual and strong style of vocal delivery.

So far, Minaj has shared several tracks from the album including 'Stupid Hoe', 'Starships', 'Roman In Moscow' and 'Roman Reloaded', but the full cut will be released next month.
