The Wanted to release first U.S. album next month

The Wanted's extensive groundwork in America appears to have paid off as the lads have now announced details of their first U.S. album release.

The boys, who recently toured around the country and had their hit single 'Glad You Came' featured on Glee, took to their official Twitter page earlier this afternoon (March 5) and confirmed that they will unveil their U.S. debut album next month:

"Great news, America: We are thrilled to announce we will be releasing our first US album on April 24!! Stay tuned for details :)"

Following The Wanted's sold-out tour across the USA, they shifted over 500,000 copies of 'Glad You Came' and have also managed to secure themselves a spot on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as performing guests (March 20).
