Justin Bieber's mother to write memoir

Justin Bieber's mother has signed a deal with Revell to write an insightful memoir entitled, 'Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber's Mom'.

The Canadian sensation himself will pen the book's foreword and it is due to hit shelves later this year on September 18.

Pattie Mallette, who plans to donate a portion of the autobiography's proceeds to charity, opened up about her plans for the project and explained that she feels it's important to show people how you can come from any background and still be successful:

"I want them to see that no matter how desperate their circumstances may be, they can have hope for a better future."

Jennifer Leep, editorial director for Revell, added:

"Pattie's story is a powerful example of courage and determination that will inspire anyone who has faced struggles in life. She's living proof that even in the darkest of places, there is always room for hope."

It was also recently announced that Bieber will produce a second book that is scheduled for an autumn release, following the widespread popularity of his first, 'First Step 2 Forever: My Story', back in 2010.
