Florence Welch admits to asking kids for help after bicycle mishap

Florence Welch has admitted that she had to ask kids for help after getting lost on a bike ride in London.

The singer told The Sun that she recently found herself in uncharted territory whilst out pedalling in the capital.

She said that she had to ask children for directions and help - but they were too starstruck initially to give her any advice. She said:

"I do have a tendency to get lost. The other week I got lost and had to ask these kids for help. They were like, 'Oh my God, oh my God, it's Florence!!!' and I was like, 'Yes it is, now can you help me?' But they got so flustered they didn't know where they were going either. As soon as they'd calmed down they cycled me back."

As previously reported, Florence + The Machine were one of the big winners at the recent 2012 NME Awards, picking up Best Solo Artist and Best Track.
