Alesha Dixon has suggested that this year's Britain's Got Talent is set to premiere on the same night as The Voice.

Dixon recently jumped ship from Strictly Come Dancing to Britain's Got Talent as the BBC ramps up the TV talent show war by launching the UK edition of The Voice, which features the likes of Jessie J.

However, Dixon told Lorraine that the first episode of this year's Britain's Got Talent is due to air on March 24 - the same as The Voice. ITV have not confirmed the date, however.

Dixon spoke about her role on Britain's Got Talent, stating that it is "incredible". She said:

"It's incredible, it's good fun. It's going to be on March 24th, so it's coming soon."
