The Wanted treated fans to exclusive information about their first U.S. album last night, March 14. 

The lads took to their official Twitter page yesterday and explained that their debut American record, which is due to be released in the USA on April 24, will be self-titled and they also shared the artwork with their 399,000 followers:

"We're pleased to announce our new US album will be self-titled #TheWanted. Check out the cover & tell us what u think!"

"Spread the word about the #TheWanted & let everyone know we're coming for you on 4/24 ;)"

Following the exciting announcement, the hashtag '#TheWanted' became the No.1 trending topic on Twitter and the group thanked their fans around the world for the incredible support, adding:

"can't believe you managed to get both those topics to trend. only goes to show that our #TWFanmily is UNSTOPPABLE"
