Will.i.am and LMFAO thank each other for career support

Will.i.am and LMFAO took to Twitter yesterday to thank each other for their career support over the last seventeen years.

The Black Eyed Peas star, who turned 37 on Thursday (Mar 15), first sent one half of the ‘Party Rock Anthem’ duo, Red Foo, a message to credit him with helping the band during their early days:

"@RedFoo thanks for trusting me... and helping me start @bep by letting me use your equipment to make our demo in 1995... true friends."

The son of music mogul Berry Gordy, who is rumoured to be working with Shakira on her new album, then responded to the compliment, tweeting:

“Thank you for everything you have done for me and @LMFAO, You are true musical genius's. Take a shot for me."

Will.i.am, who will be seen in his new judging role on The Voice for the first time next week, was the executive producer on LMFAO’s second album, ‘Sorry For Party Rocking,’ which has gone onto sell nearly a million copies in the US alone.
