The Voice coaches perform Black Eyed Peas hit

The Voice coaches have put their money where their mouth is by performing on stage together to kick off the opening episode of the BBC talent show.

A brief 35-second clip, featuring Jessie J, Tom Jones, Will.i.am and The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue teaming up on a rendition of The Black Eyed Peas’ 2009 number one, ‘I Gotta Feeling’ was premiered on last night’s episode of The One Show.

Holly Willoughby, who is co-presenting The Voice alongside Reggie Yates, told hosts Matt Baker and Alex Jones that she isn’t concerned with winning the battle against Britain’s Got Talent when the two shows go head to head on Saturday night:

“It’s the same as when Jessie J says the music industry isn’t about having a number one, it’s about touring, it’s about writing the music.

“We just wanna make the best show that we possibly can, so for us, it’s not about winning, it’s not about the number one, it’s about making a perfect show.”
