Slash confirms attendance at Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash has announced that he will attend the band’s induction into the prestigious Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

The 46-year-old, who left the group back in 1996, had previously claimed he had no plans to turn up at the event, but the Canadian Press reports that he has now agreed to appear alongside some of his former band-mates to receive the honour.

But the iconic rocker remained sketchy when asked about the possibility of a full reunion at the ceremony: “It's on (April) 14th and I don't know anything about the details of it. I'll be there and whoever else is going to be there — I'm pretty sure Duff will be there — we'll just sort of take it as it comes."

However, Slash, who releases his second solo album, ‘Apocalyptic Love,’ on May 22, said he still believes that the likes of Rush, Deep Purple and Kiss are more worthy of the recognition:

"It's sort of a bittersweet thing too because there's so many artists that aren't inducted, that came way before Guns did, that really actually almost deserve more to be in there and they're not in there. So it's really hard to sort of feel victorious ... that to me just doesn't seem right."
