Madonna and Deadmau5 have made up on Twitter after the DJ accused her of making a drugs reference at a music festival.

Deadmau5 took to his Facebook page to lament the Queen of Pop and claimed that she uttered "hipsterspeak for looking for drugs" on stage through the word "molly".

However, Madonna tweeted the DJ with the word 'Lovemau5' and a photo of herself with mouse ears - Deadmau5's trademark - with a caption.

The caption reads: "From one mouse to another, I don't support drug use and I never have. I was referring to the song 'Have You Seen Molly?', written by my friend Cedric Gervais who I almost worked with on my album."

Deadmau5 then replied: "Fair enough, i was just voicing my concerns as i usually do. +1 respect for clearing it up personally."
