British vocal sensation Jessie J has named Rihanna as her favourite pop singer.

The 'Price Tag' hitmaker explained to More magazine that the Bajan beauty is the ultimate modern pop icon and admitted that she has a great deal of both respect and admiration for her:

"Still Rihanna. She's always up there. I love her swagger. I've met her a few times, she's really lovely and so beautiful in real life."

The songstress also celebrated her 24th birthday yesterday, March 27, and took to social networking site Twitter to tell her fans that she had a great day:

"Today has been filled with so much laughter. Best gift I could have. Amazing friends. :D x"
