Emma Bunton has rubbished claims that the Spice Girls have fallen out over their upcoming stage musical, 'Viva Forever.'

The New York Post reported earlier this week that Melanie C and Melanie B were holding up production of the show due to their constant disagreements, but the 36-year-old told her Heart FM listeners yesterday that the story was ridiculous:

“This is not true at all. In fact, we’ve been getting very involved.

“The amazing Jennifer ­Saunders is writing it and we had a little read-through the other day. All I can say is that Mel C and I got a little bit ­emotional.”

Melanie C had previously assured fans the reports were not true after posting a Twitter message directly to Melanie B, saying: "OfficialMelB Seen the nonsense in the Daily Mail today! Hilarious x"
