Gaga adds second London date to tour schedule

Lady Gaga has added a second London show to her Born This Way Ball due to phenomenal demand.

The 'Yoü and I' pop icon is set to perform at the capital's Twickenham Stadium on September 8, a show which sold out within minutes of going on general sale, and she will also play there on September 9 for the fans who missed out on tickets the first time around.

Theatrical rockers The Darkness are confirmed to support the songstress on her European dates.

Tickets for the second Twickenham date will go on sale at 9am on Friday, April 20.

Gaga tweeted (April 13) about the moment she discovered her Born This Way Ball's UK dates had been snapped up in record time, and wrote: "Thank you so much monsters for getting tickets to the show! I cried this morning when I heard the UK numbers, I can't believe it."

She also shared a photograph of herself heading to a rehearsal.
