Cheryl Cole hints at Girls Aloud reunion

Cheryl Cole has suggested that a Girls Aloud reunion may soon be on the cards.

The girl group have been inactive for some time now as some of the group's members took time off and pursued solo careers.

However, speaking to BBC Radio 1 this morning (April 25), Cole said the group had met up "recently" and hinted that they may regroup fully soon. Speaking about the demise of Girls Aloud, Cole said:

"What happened was it had been seven years, consistently non-stop touring, album after album, and just as women we needed that space to grow as people. It's been almost three years, I believe, so watch out!"

The news comes as Cheryl Cole gears up for the release of her next solo album, with the singer recently unveiling the single 'Call My Name' to the public.

It attracted good reviews from the some prominent members of the music industry - including former X Factor colleague Simon Cowell.
