Rihanna has claimed that the reason her songs are so raunchy is that she’s not getting any action of her own.

The 24-year-old, who this week treated fans to a preview of the video for new single, ‘Where Have You Been,’ has become renowned for her sexual lyrics, but speaking to The Sun, she revealed that lately they've become a substitute for the real thing:

“My last album Talk That Talk was true to where my head was at that moment, like all my albums.

“I was having a lot of naughty thoughts — because I wasn’t getting any action. That came out in the music.”

The ‘We Found Love’ star, who has recently been linked with actor Ashton Kutcher, also went onto boast about her prowess in the bedroom department, adding:

“People get into the idea of pleasing others, and forget about pleasing themselves.

“I think my best quality is being daring, spontaneous, risky and fearless. It’s empowering when you do it. To me, sex is power.”
