Justin Bieber will debut 'Boyfriend' music video on Thursday

After teasing his new music video for some time now, teen sensation Justin Bieber has finally confirmed that it will premiere in full later this week.

The Canadian star has released several clips of the highly anticipated video for 'Boyfriend', but announced today that MTV will host the official first full-length screening on Thursday, May 3 at 7.50pm ET.

MTV has also promised Beliebers an exclusive chat with the 18-year-old and he will sit down with Sway Calloway to talk about the video itself, which was directed by Director X, his forthcoming new album 'Believe' and fans will also get the chance to tweet in with their own questions using the hashtag '#MTVFirst' or '#AskBieber'.

Earlier this week, Bieber spoke to ITV's Daybreak in the UK and explained that despite his international success his mother Pattie makes sure he remains grounded:

"She's just been a great mum and has been supportive of my career and she has moved all across the world to support my career."
