Labrinth denies reports he slagged off X Factor

Labrinth has denied that he slagged off the X Factor in a newspaper today (May 3).

The Metro had quoted the star - who is on Simon Cowell's record label - as saying that the TV show is "absolute s**t".

However, Labrinth took to Twitter today to deny the quotes and claimed that they were "reconstructed words". He said:

"I've gotta give it to the metro paper for there amazing ability to reconstruct words in controversial bullsh*t..."

He continued: "Come on now why would I sh*t on my own family."

Labrinth meanwhile recently teased a still photo from the video for his upcoming single 'Express Yourself', which saw him sit nearly almost down in a chair.
