Justin Bieber promises follow up single to 'Boyfriend' will "be better"

18-year-old hitmaker Justin Bieber has teased details of his follow up single to 'Boyfriend' and revealed that it's "going to be better".

Speaking during the premiere of his music video for 'Boyfriend' on MTV First last night (May 3), the superstar explained that he has high hopes for the next cut to be taken from his forthcoming studio album, 'Believe', and he can't wait to share it:

"It's crazy, because even my next single after that is going to be better. My next single, I don't have it completely set. I think it's 'As Long As You Love Me.' It's midtempo - I think it's edgy."

When asked why he decided to make 'Boyfriend' the lead single from his new record, Bieber admitted that it simply "was a song that most represented me at the time".

Earlier this week (April 30), Bieber admitted that he was still trying to decide if it was worth releasing a duet for his next offering:

"It just depends. I mean right now we're just focusing on 'Boyfriend' and then the next single we're figuring out whether we're going to do a collaboration or just have me. We're just figuring it out."
