Bajan sensation Rihanna appeared as the musical guest on last night's (May 5) episode of Saturday Night Live and wowed the studio audience and viewers alike with her live performances.

The songstress treated fans to exciting renditions of 'Birthday Cake', 'Where Have You Been' and 'Talk That Talk', and her performances caught the attention of many Twitter users, with American Idol superstar Adam Lambert writing:

"@rihanna you just KILLED IT on SNL. That was was such a fierce performance. Flawless!"

She worked the stage in front of a giant spider's web backdrop for the first two songs and returned later during the show to exercise her new single, 'Where Have You Been', for which she was surrounded by a sultry Egyptian-style set.
