Beastie Boys' Ad-Rock: 'The love that Yauch put into the world is coming right back at him'

Beastie Boys star Adam Horovitz has spoken out about the untimely death of his bandmate Adam Yauch in a new blog post.

It was announced on Friday, May 4 that Adam 'MCA' Yauch had passed away following a long battle with cancer and now Horovitz, aka Ad-Rock, has written about the heartbreaking news on the group's official site:

"As you can imagine, shit is fkd up right now. But I wanna say thank you to all our friends and family (which are kinda one in the same) for all the love and support. I'm glad to know that all the love that Yauch has put out into the world is coming right back at him."

After it was confirmed that Yauch had passed away, celebrities and musicians alike took to social networking sites to pay their respects and even the Queen of Pop, Madonna, issued a statement about her feelings towards the well-loved hitmaker.
