Adele has clarified reports that she received a birthday cake shaped like a pair of breasts from Rihanna.

The vocal star enjoyed her birthday on Saturday (May 5), with Rihanna tweeting:

"Happy Birthday to my lover, Adele."

A tabloid newspaper in the UK reported that Rihanna had delivered to the singer's London home a birthday cake shaped like a pair of breasts.

However, Adele took to Twitter today (May 8) to set the facts right. She said:

"Had a lovely birthday, thanks for all the messages. I got a blossom tree! I didn't get a cake from Rih Rih & I'm not engaged, blah blah x"
