Adam Lambert offers unreleased material to One Direction

Adam Lambert has offered several tracks that didn't make the cut for his new album to One Direction.

The 30-year-old, who is set to top the Billboard charts this week with his second studio effort, ‘Trespassing,’ told the Daily Star that he's keen to ensure that the material left off the record doesn't go to waste:

“There’s a lot of songs that didn’t make the album that are really strong. We did some pop-rock stuff, so maybe one of these new boybands could do one.”

Lambert, who made his return to the American Idol stage to perform 'Never Close Our Eyes' earlier this week, then suggested that another talent show alumni would be the perfect act to do them justice:

“Those One Direction boys are cool. I’d love for someone else to sing some of those songs.”
