Keane’s Strangeland tops UK album chart for second week

Keane have topped the album charts for the second week running with their fifth studio album, ‘Strangeland.'

The band’s follow-up to 2010’s 'Night Train' overtook the midweek number one, Tenacious D’s ‘Rize Of The Fenix,’ in a closely-run battle for the top spot which also involved Emeli Sande’s ‘Our Version Of Events’ (No.3), Adele’s '21' (No.4) and Ren Harvieu’s debut album, ‘Through The Night’ (No.5).

Elsewhere, Garbage returned from a seven year absence to land their sixth Top 20 album with ‘Not Your Kind Of People,’ (No.10), Ben Howard's 'Every Kingdom' reached a new peak at No.6, whilst there were climbs for Ed Sheeran's '+' (No.7) and Gotye's 'Making Mirrors' (No.8).

Also making their debuts are Beach House’s ‘Bloom’ (No.15), Glee Cast’s ‘The Graduation Album’ (No.17), new Engelbert Humperdinck compilation 'Release Me' (No.21) and Morten Harket's 'Out Of My Hands' (No.37).
