Michelle Obama reveals Beyoncé inspiration

America's First Lady Michelle Obama has revealed that she would love to swap lives with Beyoncé.

The wife of President Barack Obama told People magazine that if she had a "gift", then she would like to be Beyoncé.

She took time to praise her singing - and suggested that musicians have the "most fun". She said:

"If I had some gift, I'd be Beyoncé. I'd be some great singer. The power of music, being able to play an instrument…It looks like musicians just have the most fun."

The feeling is mutual, it seems. As previously reported, Beyoncé recently penned an open letter to Michelle Obama, praising her role model qualities.

In the letter, she concluded: "I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to."
