Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger has confirmed that she will be stepping in as a guest judge on this year's run of The X Factor in the UK.

The 'Poison' songstress, who has starred as a panelist on X Factor USA in the past, took to social networking site Twitter earlier this afternoon (May 29) to announce the exciting news:

"Super excited to be back in London for @TheXFactor! Can't wait to find more unique and interesting talent!"

A message has also been sent out from The X Factor's official Twitter page, which explained that Scherzinger will be present at tomorrow's (May 30) taping at the O2 Arena in England's capital:

"NEWS: The gorgeous @NicoleScherzy will be Guest Judge at tomorrow's auditions. (Which start at 11am, punctuality fans)."
