Ethereal hitmaker Florence Welch has revealed that her band's guitarist, Rob Ackroyd, is perfect for American beauty and pop princess Katy Perry and thinks they're a fantastic match.

Ackroyd and Perry were photographed together at this year's Coachella festival in California looking very happy in each other's company and Welch told Heatworld.com that she wasn't surprised they had hit it off:

"Rob's gorgeous, inside and out. I get it. Katy is this ball of absolutely amazing energy, she's so wonderful and fun. She's very supportive of my music. Katy's very supportive of my music. I think that it's brilliant having all these amazing female solo singers doing so well. It's inspiring. I do love Lady Gaga and Katy. They're part of the family."

Earlier this week, Florence & the Machine unveiled a new music video for 'Spectrum', which was directed by John Byrne and David LaChapelle.
