Hilary Duff gushes about joys of motherhood

Hilary Duff has revealed how overjoyed she is at becoming a mother.

The former Disney star, who gave birth to son Luca in March this year, told E! Online that she finds it hard to express just how much being a parent has changed her life:

"There's really no words to describe it. It's the most incredible thing every day. It softens you so much. I feel like a big mushy ball."

However, the 24-year-old said she and hockey star husband Mike Comrie have no plans to add to their family just yet: "Obviously we want more kids but we want to really enjoy Luca. I'm young. I still want to work and I feel like I have a lot to do."

The Lizzie McGuire actress also went onto reveal that she is due to resume her music career next week, adding: "I'm getting kind of nervous. Next week I have all these meetings set with different producers and writers. I'm excited to start that process and I'm so nervous."
