Jake Shears reveals he’d love to write for Girls Aloud

Jake Shears has revealed that he would love to write songs for Girls Aloud’s proposed comeback.

The Scissor Sisters frontman, who recently worked with Nicola Roberts on Rihanna’s new Sky Living fashion show, told the Daily Star that he’s a big fan of the group, who are set to reunite for their 10th anniversary later this year:

“If I was asked, I would do it in a heartbeat. Yes please. I’m a big fan of the girls.

“I wouldn’t turn that down at all. I think we could come up with a great sound together.”

The 33-year-old, whose band is set to chart inside the UK Top 10 today with their fourth album, ‘Magic Hour,’ also declared that he and Kylie Minogue will collaborate together again in the future:

“I’d describe Minnie as small, sexy, glowing and funny – she’s definitely easily excitable like me.

“We’ll definitely get into the studio again soon.”
