Music stars meet the Queen as Diamond Jubilee Concert finishes with a bang

A host of top music stars had the honour of meeting the Queen last night (June 4) after performing at the Diamond Jubilee Concert in London.

The event, which was held outside Buckingham Palace, saw a number of massive stars strut their stuff, with the likes of Sir Paul McCartney and Kylie Minogue helping top the bill.

The Queen took time to meet the acts performing the gig, with Kylie helping introduce the performers to the Royal.

The event meanwhile finished in style as Beatle McCartney took to the stage before initiating an onstage sing song with the evening's fellow performers.

McCartney played after the likes of Stevie Wonder and Sir Elton John as the carnival atmosphere reached fever pitch, whilst Madness also performed on the roof of Buckingham Palace.

The night ended with Prince Charles making a moving speech on stage as music royalty watched on, before fireworks truly ended the night with a bang.
