'Call Me Maybe' chart-topper Carly Rae Jepsen has opened up about her meeting with teen sensation Justin Bieber and described the experience as "unlike any other weekend" in her life.

Speaking to Capital FM, Jepsen explained that she was flown to Los Angeles where she met up with 18-year-old Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun and it was a surreal trip:

"That entire weekend was probably unlike any other weekend I've experienced in my life. I flew to LA, I met Scooter Braun and the whole team at Interscope, and then I went to the studio and met Justin."

She also revealed that while she was initially very nervous, she relaxed as soon as the conversation turned to music, adding:

"I was a little nervous, but he was so calm and laid back and within no time we were just talking music and it was comfortable."
