Adam Lambert: 'I have to learn many more Queen songs before the live shows'

Superstar Adam Lambert is currently in London ahead of his live shows with Queen and to promote his sophomore album, 'Trespassing', and has revealed that returning to front the iconic rock outfit is a "challenge".

He made his debut as the one-time frontman for Queen back at the European Music Awards last year and did such an incredible job that he was invited back for a few select shows in England's captial next month.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Lambert explained that because the new shows are full-length he has a lot more material to learn and although it's a lot to take on he can't wait:

“We only did three songs together last year at the MTV EMAs so I have a lot more tracks to learn. That’s part of the challenge – to learn something new."

“Of course I’ve heard the music but being able to dive into the song and perform it is a whole different level.”

He will perform at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo on July 11, 12 and 14.
